I can't thank them enough for all they did. We were so hot. They did everything to help me with an old AC unit. A true blessing from God. C.Nelson
We’ve been using Spears A/C for 5 years now and they are the BEST in the area! They are always so incredibly responsive! They even have active texting! They’ve always been honest and straight with us and they have super good pricing compared to the chains like Weeks. They are so much more personable and great to work with! I couldn’t recommend them enough!
Lost my AC in the heat of June. Had a new condenser and coil unit within a week. No one picks to have their AC go out, but when it did I used the various quotes and ratings in Yelp. Spears AC provided the best price, fast responses to questions. The crew provided carpet covering and had me up and running in less than five hours. The carrier brand and warranty are now protecting me for the next ten years.
I highly recommend Spears Air Conditioning and Heating. They replaced my outside unit in record time and did an excellent job for a very reasonable price. I will definitely use them in the future if needed.
I've been a fan and customer of Spears for years now. The integrity with which they operate is why I keep coming back. Steve is involved in nearly all customer transactions. The office staff's communication, scheduling and follow up is on point. All of the technicians that have come out and done work - unit maintenance, roof vent installation, and most recently unit replacement have all been top notch - letting me shoulder surf, ask questions, and learn a bit each time. Very professional and courteous from end to end. I highly recommend Spears. This was a 2 day turn around unit replacement with a more efficient and compact Carrier model. Steve game me options, details and no sales pressure. The team got us cooled back down before it got really hot out!
Call this company on Easter Sunday and the guy came out within couple hrs then came back Monday and install new a/c unit for a great price before u do any a/c work done call Steve wow !!!!!
We called the big dog ( JM ) and they said "you need a new system for only $5,000.00 can install today! We said no thanks, called Spears next and his tech said, "your thermostat is out, it was fixed fast for a total of $ 225.00! Good thing we called Spears, Thanks for your honesty Spears A/C!
Very quick with Service, very competitive pricing, Look at his van, he has most parts that he needs to do the job right then and there.
Awesome owner! Very smart and experienced. Looking forward to working with him in the future.
They came out the same day I called on a Sunday and Javier diagnosed the problem correctly and came back the next day with the part (fan blower motor) and it's been about a month and it's still working great! The only problem I had was that the labor cost seemed high and I wasn't told the total amount before the repair was made but it seems like all A/C, plumbing, electrical etc, repairs have incredibly high labor costs. I somewhat understand that since maybe they have to make a phone call to see if the parts are in and then they have to pick up the parts and drive to the location of the repair so that takes time. It was $95 to come out to diagnose the problem on the weekend, $450 for the 1hour of labor plus $800 for the parts. I will call them again for service but this time I'll make sure to ask how much before the repair is made.
thank you for the good review but you might have the wrong company... there's no Javier who works here and we charge $90 for wknd calls not $95. also blower motors take us longer than one hour. and we don't usually just automatically do such an expensive repair without first getting approval from the customer. besides those ECM motors are not a part a tech can just take from their van and slap on like a capacitor. they need to come from the manufacturer and be programmed most of the time they need to be ordered. during all this delay a price was never discussed??? when the part is this expensive we usually give the option to replace the whole piece of equipment for instance a new furnace is +/-$2500 fyi.. regardless how long it takes alot of companies will double the price of the parts so who ever did your motor gave you a good deal in my opinion. sounds like you have one of those expensive ECM motors so they gave you a discount because it was so expensive. but trust me if the motor was $800 the average companies invoice would have been closer to $1600 I know that's expensive but I hear about this way of pricing all the time. also it's not as easy as saying $450 x 8 hrs = $3600/day $3600 x 5 days = $18,000/wk if it was like this I would be driving a Lamborghini not six year old F-150
