Google review 6/4/2025We had Spears AC install a new 4-ton cooling system a couple of years ago. The system required a "Hard-Start" kit that they added at no charge. Recently the system quit cooling and Steve Spears came out (quickly) and replaced the start capacitor and got it up and running again. Due to a recent storm with a power interruption, the system quit cooling again. Moses (a service tech) came out promptly and completely trouble shot the system, replaced the "Hard-Start" capacitor and got it up and running again. Both Steve and Moses are amazing techs! Moses let me follow him through the entire process. Not only is he highly qualified, but he is also great at explaining the system (an a very nice guy). I highly recommend Spears AC. They are a locally owned company and a great asset to our community.

Google review 5/17/2025I originally had Steve come out months back to help install two soft starters on my AC units to help power my generator and he did excellent and very fair and honest pricing. Left a really good impression considering many in the industry would just overcharge you. 2nd time around lower house wasn't cooling well and had their company come out to pin point diagnose the issue and provide options. Many HVAC companies won't take the time and do whats right for the customer and instead will provide vague responses and fear tactics to charge you more especially if your desperate for a fix and Spears is nothing close to that. A great company with great people who provide exceptional service with honest pricing. No reason to look elsewhere and my go to hvac company. Thank you, Spears. Spears has been our "go-to" for several years. They installed completely new A/C & furnace system two couple years ago. Last winter was mild so we did not run the furnace for several days in a row. This year we have had it running continuously and it quit running. Spears tech, Moises came out late in the evening and got us going again. We are retired and needed the heat, thank for your great service.

Google review 7/12/2024I am happy to give Steve and his company an exemplary recommendation. His company will be my go to company for any future heating and air conditioning problems. For the following reasons. I seldom write a review because I am seldom pleased with the services I receive. That is not the case with Spears. About a month ago, my central air was. It cooling. I called Spears and Steve (the owner) answered. Within the hour, he was at my home. He diagnosed the problem as a Freon leak. He fully charged the unit so that I would be able to cool my home until a new coil could be installed. That was done two days later. Just last yesterday, my wife and I came home from a day in Galveston to find the outside unit not running. I texted Steve at around 11:30 hoping to get on his schedule for the following day. Steve responded within minutes and 20 minutes later he was at my home. An hour later, he had made the repair and at no charge. He said it was part of his customer satisfaction policy. .

Google review 7/6/2024Showed up on a Saturday on short notice, and detected within 2 minutes of arrival that my AC unit had a bad capacitor. They got it fired up right away and verified that it worked properly. They were in and out within 10 minutes. Old-school professionals, couldn't imagine using anyone else for such an important job! Hire these guys right away
