After hours call on a Friday night. We were installing a Nest thermostat and kept getting an error. Nest tech support told us it was an HVAC issue. Checked out yelp and gave these guys a call. 1) they answered the phone at 9:15 at night. 2) they gave an estimate over the phone so we had an idea up front what it would cost 3) kept us updated by text on eta status as the technician was at another job and would come to our home after that Chris got there and was extremely polite and friendly even though he pretty much had been in hot attics all day. He explained everything he was doing and found a serious issue that the builder had neglected! Very, very happy with these guys. Sadly, it's hard to find customer service like this. Thanks so much for being there and being a decent, honest company!
Steve diagnosed the problem and resolved it efficiently and at a reasonable price. He came within an hour and worked late into the evening. Nice, professional, work.

I had Steve install an entire HVAC system to replace a very old (R-22) system in my house. I had been putting it off for years because I didn't want to spend the money. Steve's quote was MUCH cheaper than other quotes I had gotten, and at the end of the job, that was the actual price. No surprises. His crew came out imediatedly and worked as hard as any people I've ever seen. They were very gracious and respectful to me, my house, my dogs and my family. Steve made some suggestions to correct some very poorly designed aspects of the orginal installation and I agreed. Almost everything was done in a single day! I'm having guests over today and my 33 year old house feels brand new. It's more comfortable and I'm certain the air quality has improved. The extra filtration (along with a media filter in the attic) coupled with all new ducts will most certainly help with my seasonal allergies. I am familiar with HVAC because of my occupation, and I can tell you these guys did it right. If I could give more stars I would. I am completly satisfied.

Spears AC and Heating saved the day! Our AC stopped working Sunday evening. I made phone call after phone call just trying to get someone to come out to see what the problem was. People were either closed, not available, or were going to charge double to come out on a Sunday. I called Spears, but had to leave a message. I received a phone call about an hour and a half later and he said he could be at my house with 18 minutes. When asked about how much it would be for him to come out he told me that he doesn't charge for house calls. I told him about the issue we were having with the AC and he was able to tell me how much I should expect to pay before he even came out. Sure enough he was at my house in no time and was able to finish the job within 10 minutes! I paid $175 for the part that's was needed and was left a very satisfied customer. I will always call Spears first!
Not typically one to write reviews, but after my experience with Spears, I highly recommend calling them. Steve (owner) was outstanding! He answered my early morning call and arrived shortly after to assess the issue with our AC. He quickly diagnosed the problem, and advised me of what needed to be done. He got it working the same day with a bypass to get us by for the night. He snagged the necessary part the next morning and fixed our issue entirely. All for an extremely reasonable price. I don't know how he does what he does, as he seems to run all or most service calls himself. Super impressed and certainly highly recommend!
The guy came out an hour after I texted him. Fixed it fast and left a bill. No contract plan or selling me on additional services. Fixed it and left. The bill was a fair amount. I feel like he didn't gouge me. He will get my repeat business.
I called up Spears A/C and Heating after coming home to a warmer than normal home one evening. I expected a service call the following day but Steve said he'd send a technician right over. 15 minutes later, someone was at our front door. After checking our system, the serviceman said he had to go back to the office to get the necessary equipment for the job. 30 minutes passed and it was Mr Spears himself who came to finish the job. He determined the problem was much more extensive (coil replacement) than he originally anticipated and would have to check on getting a replacement part the following day. Worried about have my 2 children try to sleep in the stifling heat, Steve said he would add freon to our system so we could have some relief. Before leaving, he said he was going to check to see if our coil would still be covered under the manufacturer warranty. Who does that!?!? Needless to say, I was amazed. Fast forward to today, coil replaced, cool home, satisfied customer. The business practices of this company are second to none. Without a doubt, Spears A/C and Heating will continue to get all future business from our family and I will refer all family and friends to him for any a/c & heating needs.
